Category 6 Patch Cords are designed to provide superior Channel
performance and support for emerging high bandwidth applications. Patch
cords accommodate both T568A and T568B wiring configurations are
available in eight colors. Patch cords are assembled using ETL verified
24 AWG stranded cable, which exceeds performance levels as specified in
TIA/EIA-568-B-2-1 Category 6 Draft 8. Stranded cable is designed for
greater flexibility and a longer service life than solid cable. The
patch cords modular plugs contact material is phosphor bronze with 50
micro-inches of gold over nickel, using a pair spacing bar and a
staggered contact arrangement to provide balanced performance. All
cables are backwards compatible to lower level standards and
transmission tested to 250MHz using laboratory grade equipment to ensure
consistent performance and reliability.
