Returning In-Store Purchases

You can return or exchange in-store purchases at any Circuit Zone store. You must bring your original receipt and your valid photo ID. Circuit Zone accepts the following forms of photo identification:


    Driver's license

    National  ID



Return and Exchange Period

You can return or exchange purchases within the time frames below.


    5 days for computers, monitors, projectors, camcorders, digital cameras, iPad, and tablet PC

    3 days for all other products



Cash refunds are only honoured for same day purchase, all other refunds will be by either credit note or cheque based on the condition and terms of the item for refund.

i.e. Any item that has been opened or shows signs of usage, will only receive a credit note, and may incur a restocking fee of 25 percent as a measure of rental for usage. Items returned out of the stipulated times and in sealed and original condition will receive a credit note for the full invoiced value of the returned item.

Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original payment. However, when the item was purchased with cash or with a debit card for more than $500, or with a check for more than $250 the refund will be in the form of a check mailed to you within 10 business days. If the item was purchased using debit and the debit card has a major credit card logo, refunds under $250 will be issued as cash.


Restocking Fee

Circuit Zone does not charge a restocking fee on most purchases. However, a 25% restocking fee is charged for Special Order Products (occasionally in stock items).


Non-Returnable Items


    Special ordered items (items not usually in stock)

    Labor, delivery and/or installation services

    Pre-paid cards (e.g., music, photo, video or phone cards)

    Consumable items such as inks, toners and batteries

    Items that have been damaged through customer use or abuse

    Etched or otherwise personalized items

    Non-defective, opened computer software, movies, music and video games



Special Offer Returns


    Free Gifts

   To receive a full refund, you must also return the free gift. If you don't do this, the refund amount will    

    be reduced to reflect the value of the free gift.


 Bundle Purchases


    You can return an individual item that was part of a bundle package. In some cases a bundle discount

    has been applied to each item. You will be refunded the discounted price, which may differ from the

    price if you purchased it individually. To review the amount you will be refunded for each individual

    item within the bundle, visit the Your Account page after you submit your order.


  Quantity Discounts

 If by returning an item your original purchase is no longer eligible for the quantity discount, the discount received will be subtracted from the purchase price of the item being returned. You will be refunded the difference.



Items returned must conform to the following:

1.  Returned with all related documentation

2. Returned with all included remote, battery, cables, adapters, stands and accessories

3. Complete packaging (in original condition), items that come in sealed boxes or molded plastic, must be returned sealed an undamaged.

4. Must be returned in a re-saleable condition.
